  • PhD on Food authenticity: find new analytical strategies to identify authentic foods and prevent food fraud. In this PhD, state-of-the art analytical determinations combined with data processing by chemometrics (fingerprinting/omics) will be applied.  See here text call and application procedure

  • PhD on Lipids in animal feeding: study ways of re-valorizing of fat by-products as animal feed ingredients and their effects on meat composition, quality and stability. This PhD is a part of a collaborative project with companies in which new feed ingredients are being developed. See here text call and application procedure

New PhD positions (funded by FPU program)

Would you like to become a PhD researcher? Would you like to join our research team? The fats and oils reaserch field has many gaps to solve!

We selecting 2 candidates who are willing to apply for a PhD fellowship within the FPU program  funded by the Spanish Ministry of Educaation, Culture and Sports (4 years fellowship; starting date: September 2016).

The PhD project would be part of one of these reseach lines:

Candidate’s preferred profiles include:
Education:

  • MsC degree in Pharmacy, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or similar, with marks above 7.5 (0-10 Spanish system scale)

Other aspects:

  • Good english level
  • Previus experience in research

 Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions – Individual Fellowships (IF) Are you a PhD researcher willing to apply for an Individual Fellowship within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie action (IF)?

We are looking for candidates that would like to submit a proposal for a IF to be hosted by our research group (LiBiFOOD) at University of Barcelona.

The candidate’s career stage is: Experienced researcher or 4-10 yrs (Post-Doc) or More Experienced researcher or >10 yrs (Senior).

Mobility is required. Please check the mobility rules in the Guide of applicants.
