PhD in Animal Production at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2016).  Degree in Veterinary Sciencies (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 2009) and MsC in Aquaculture (Universitat de Barcelona, 2010).

She conducted her PhD at the Departament de Ciència Animal i dels Aliments from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, with part of her research done at LiBiFOOD – Nutrition and Food Science Department of University of Barcelona.

Her PhD Thesis was focused in the study of the incorporation of re-esterified oils, obtained from by-products of the oil refining industry, in aquaculture feeds.
